Welcome to Mythic Paws. Every Training Journey Begins Somewhere.
Every dog begins their life with a story waiting to unfold. Some step confidently into the world, ready for anything, while others face challenges that seem bigger than they are. I have always believed that every dog carries the heart of a hero, and my role is to guide them with patience, trust, and understanding.
Mythic Paws grew from that belief. Training has always been more than teaching a list of skills. It is a way to build connection, support emotional growth, and help dogs understand the world around them. I often say that dogs live in a world that was not made for them. Our job is to teach them how to navigate it with clarity and confidence. When a dog learns, their world expands. When we learn with them, our world expands too.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of watching dogs and their humans grow together. I have seen anxious dogs take steady breaths, reactive dogs find focus in difficult moments, and families discover a new sense of confidence in how they communicate. These moments remind me why I love this work and why I continue to learn and improve.
My training approach is rooted in modern positive reinforcement. I believe in teaching through kindness, clarity, and science. Dogs learn best when they feel safe, supported, and understood. Training should not feel like a battle. It should feel like an invitation to grow and a chance to strengthen the bond you share with your dog.
Whether we are working on reactivity, leash manners, polite greetings, obedience foundations, or building confidence in the world, my goal is the same. I want to help your dog become the best version of themselves, and I want you to understand the emotions and needs that shape their behavior. When we understand the why behind our dogs’ choices, it becomes much easier to support them through challenges and celebrate their progress.
I have learned so much from the dogs who have been part of my life. They have taught me to observe more carefully, meet them where they are, and slow down when they need space. These lessons are what pushed me to pursue deeper education in canine behavior, conditioning, and physical wellness. I am currently working toward my CPCFT certification, which stands for Certified Professional Canine Fitness Trainer. This program focuses on canine fitness and conditioning and allows me to look at the whole dog, support their body as well as their mind, and help them move through their training journey with strength and confidence.
This blog is a place where I hope to share that knowledge with you. Here, you will find practical training tips, behavior insights, and approachable guidance that you can apply at home. My goal is to make training feel clear and doable, not overwhelming. You do not need complicated routines or strict systems to make progress. You just need patience, consistency, and a willingness to learn alongside your dog.
Training is a journey, and like any meaningful adventure, it happens one step at a time. Some days will feel easy. Others might be challenging. But every moment you invest in your dog strengthens your bond and moves you both forward.
I am grateful you are here, and I hope this space becomes a helpful resource as you continue your own training journey.
If you are ready to start your path toward confidence, clarity, and connection with your dog, I am here to guide you.
